Hirtshals Dormitory is located at the center of Hirtshals urban area, on the main street. 

It is meant to be a great living place for  higher education student in Hirtshals and is designed and remodelled in cooperation input from students. 

The dorm is perfect for those who want to create a second home staying in Hirtshals. It is very conveniently located in the center of the city close to all necessities ex. shopping, cafes, hairdresser, library, and leisure activities but still close to the sea and green areas around Hirtshals. The dorm is located at J. Fibigersgade 16 only a 5 minute bicycle ride from DTU Hirtshals Campus and 8 minutes from the train station.

It is intended for both international students enrolled studying at a higher education in Hirtshals, as well as all students pursuing an education eligible for SU (Student Grant) in Denmark – we aim at mainly housing students at DTU.

Hirtshals Dormitory provides a great opportunity to form international friendships with students who share the same interests as you, as the dorm prioritizes students from DTU.

The rent will only put you back 450 euros/month. This includes a fully furnished room, a private storage space in the basement, water & electricity within a defined amount, a large, shared kitchen with a large social area and including kitchen utensils, bathrooms, a play area, a lounge and tv area, a small bicycle workshop, a small library, and more.
